Toddlers (Tiny Teddies)

TToddlers learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor, and skills. They turn ideas into words and phrases to better express themselves, and practice the value of sharing and cooperating through group play. Physical Development

Toddlers are naturally curious and want to explore the world around them. We have designed our classroom and equipment to support safe exploration so your toddler has room to discover, build motor skills, and improve coordination. Activites focus on experiementing with space to develop balance, hand/eye coordination and participation in creative movements to music. We have an indoor and an outdoor play area.

Games for the Brain

Toddlers need an environment that is interesting to explore, safe and filled with caring teachers who respond to their emotional and intellectual needs. Our program offers children a variety of fun, stimulating activities, such as matching and sorting, exploring colors, counting, and categorizing objects.

Language and Communication

Introduce toddlers to books and language nourishes early literacy development. Toddlers focus on words and phrases, vocabulary development, following simple directions, and identifying and naming familiar items.

Creative Arts

Toddlers will begin to explore art materials and experiencing music, dancing, and pretend play. Our teachers reinforce important developmental objectives through these creative, fun experiences. Creative Arts activities introduce toddlers to cause and effect, self-expression through art and music, and will begin to share his or her knowledge in new ways with other children.

Social and Emotional

As toddlers learn more about themselves and their abilities, they become aware of their social setting. With frequent opportunities for group experiences, they gain an awareness of others and a sense of group identity. Daily group time incorporates a number of activities, such as songs, games stories and more.
